OK, I am again being asked for homework. Who would have thought as a youngster that we would actually request homework later in life? I love research, so I get it, but I am sure many people still do not want to do their homework!
I have noticed that there are still many people that think that the Islamic religion is a bad thing. We have so many violent and crazy people in this world, and because they make the news, people think that their views are the views of Islamics everywhere. They are not . Just like when the Irish Protestants and Catholics were bombing each other in Northern Ireland, it isn't a tenet of those Christian religions to kill people. It isn't a tenet of the Islam religion to kill people either.
Take a look at Islamic religion. Not extremest viewpoints. If you are feeling lazy this weekend, wait til Monday and I will write about it here. But don't be lazy, see what your research finds and what mine finds and compare, and explore. Those tendrils may lead you to other things that you find even MORE interesting . you may embark on a whole new path altogether. Meanwhile if this little foray teaches folks that just because you are Islamic, that doesn't mean you are a terrorist, then we can shed just a little more light and positive energy into the world.
This weekend may include a trip to a pow wow, or better yet, a pauwau. So I won't spend the whole weekend with my nose in a book or on a webpage.
