To begin, I do want to reiterate that there is nothing to fear about 2012. There is no special thing that you need to do to prepare. No special attunement, class, or preparation. Some people taught and attuned others in an expensive class, others sold magical words and potions, all this will do nothing to improve your future nor keep you safe in 2012, as there is nothing to keep you safe from.
The year 2012 is a year where the veil gets much thinner, it allows us to use our direct lines of communication with the Universe more easily. It allows us to tune into and trust our intuition. There will be, and already has been a reshuffling of people to groups where they are associated with those who are on the same path as they, whether good or bad.
The mind will connect more directly with God/Creator/The Universe. We learn about that link from our head to a higher power in many cultures, from the Hopi who talk about the thread coming out of our heads that we need to use when we seek direction from Creator, to reiki where there is a connection made and attuned from the tops of our heads to allow us to heal and have insight into our clients needs. We see "halos" or light in Christian depictions, and we hear of the crown chakra in Hinduism.
The New Year is celebrated many ways in many cultures. In the US we are told to make a resolution. The New Year is a "new start". Don't make resolutions, you won't keep them. Make changes that you are ready to make. Use the following affirmation and have a wonderful 2012.
Affirmations are words we say repetitively that program our energy and bring it in line with the affirmation. This will bring about help from the Universe to achieve the affirmation. Affirmations are said as if they are already happening. You cannot say it too much, and you have to really have faith in it for it to work.
The year of 2012 will be a positive one for me. It will bring me abundance in every aspect of my life. Everything I truly deserve and work towards, will be achieved. I will be in control of my life and prosperity. I will open up to and trust my intuition and will not allow anyone to misguide me into fear, improper action, or mistrust of the Universe.
