What is your recipe for life?

Do you have a recipe for life? Do you follow it? The other day I was thinking about what made my life a nice one while there are people that I counsel who have such a hard time. I wrote the recipe on Facebook and it said:

The secret to life. Be honest , be strong. Speak your mind, but make sure you aren't inserting your foot in your mouth when you do it. Help when asked, help when not asked...but ask first before helping. Laugh MUCH, dance, run, sing, til you just can't move or squeak anymore. Explore, learn, grow, don't be afraid to learn you are wrong. Don't be afraid to be right. Do unto others, and treat yourself well. Love flat out, and LIVE life.

I later thought of a couple of other really important parts. That is to not wish ill will to another person. Hoping for Karma is OK, it is like wishing the sun will come up...however, make sure that you realize that Karma is there to teach NOT to punish. People think Karma is the Universe's way of getting back at a person, it isn't. It is the Universe's way of clearly showing them that they went wrong, where they went wrong, and how they could have done things differently. Is that always a pleasant experience? No, not always. However, if you are genuine, you won't even have an issue with what Karma hands you.

The final thought is an important one. Allow the Universe/God/ Creator to take the lead. When you are fighting in any way for something that you feel is the right way, the right person, the right object...and you get emotionally involved in it, you are no longer objective, nor able to do a good job. You become your own worst enemy. The key is to let go, and tell the Universe , "DO what is best for me".

It is pure magic, but not for those who lack faith, for they will have too much fear and start manipulating. Relax, let go...and watch the miracles happen.

So what is YOUR recipe for life????
